A message from one of our founders, Dan Bawabe.
Our company, Lux Renovations, started in 1992 as a general contracting company. Back then and for years we offered many types of products and superior workmanship. Truth be told, we’ve always championed products that offer meaningful solutions to the problems faced in home improvement and construction.
Unfortunately, in the construction industry, there are too many old habits and not enough long-term accountability.
Then, a decade later, in 2002, we became very interested in the Owens Corning Basement Finishing System, as it was a solution to many common problems. This product was revolutionary and just made sense! We started carrying and installing the system and found that there were a lot of customers who were aware (from past experiences) that basement finishing with drywall has its problems. Within a few years, we decided to focus entirely on basement finishing with Owens Corning.
Since then we’ve installed over 10,000 complete finished basements. We love being really good at just one thing and have become known as the experts in this field across East Coast. Over the years, we’ve developed a terrific team of dedicated employees who know their business and are just very genuine people. We all love to come to work each morning and have been passionate about finishing basements for a long time now!
